digital TV signal

Can any one help? I installed a trial version of Sage TV, it didn't support my TV card so I unistalled it, now Window Media Player and Win TV do not receive a digital TV signal, all so, my computer hardware diagnostics can't see a signal. If I re-enstall SageTV, Win TV will work 'OK' but Media player and the hardware diagnostics still don't receive a signal. I have re-enstalled the TV card drivers I have also removed and re-fitted the TV card but still no good.

Restore point is probably your best option. Choose the one you created just prior to installing Sage.

Hi Helen, I tried that, but for some reason the restore point prior to installing Sage failed

Make sure you uninstall Sage and delete the directory. Use the program hwclear on your tuner card to remove any remnants of the drivers and program. Then do a reinstall of the tuner card, drivers and software program you want to use. hwclear is a program that should be on the CD that came with your Hauppague card. See if that works.

Hi All, I have tried that as well, it seems to me that unistalling Sage has done something to my Vista/ Media Player files
