XBox Delay

Hi Everyone,

I have my Xbox 360 hooked up through an additional capture card in my machine, there seems to be a bit of lag/delay the PVR is causing when I try to play the xbox. It seems it records a second or so ahead of me. Is there a way to disable the PVR for just a capture card/channel (ie; composite on tuner1).

Thanks!

Chris W

Nope, no way that I know of except to hook the Xbox directly up to the TV and not try to run it through the PVR.

No. Sage software is always recording which is why there is a delay.

You could try running it through VLC to see if that makes a difference. But, from what i know there should still be a slight delay.

The delay is caused by the Hardware encoding done on the Tuner. I used to use a Software capture card like the ATI AIW when recording gameplay.
