CPU Max on Record attempt or viewing Guide
My system has gone completely haywire tonight.
Earlier on in the week I added an HDPVR, worked great. Had a second HDPVR on order, it arrived today, I should have just went to bed at 7:00. My System... SageTV 6.4.8 running in service mode, 1 PVR-500, 2 HD-PVR's and a Genpix as a network encoder. Clients, HD-100, MVP, and laptop Using Sage EPG service, with SageDD module streaming missing information from my DVB card. The beginning of the problem... I stopped Sage, plugged in my second HDPVR, Windows recognized it, restarted Sage, added it to the tuner list, everything seemed OK. Tested out all tuners to see if it had any extra load on the server, all tuners recorded (HD-PVR x2, PVR-500). DId a channel change to change the recording for the HD-PVR and everything went down hill from their. I got the dreaded no signal. I decided that maybe a reboot of the server would help things along. Rebooted the server and got a BSOD, unplugged the new HDPVR everything booted up fine. The real problem... I let Sage Start up and decided to view a show on the Client, I opened the Program Guide view and the server CPU went to MAX. The client became very unresponsive but I could still see the guide data. I have not been able to move past this point. I have tried removing tuners from the properties file, I have tried removing EPG sources from the properties file, I have tried restoring an old Wiz.bin, all have not changed my results. This is so frustrating and not helping the WAF at all. My next step is to do a fresh install, but hate losing my viewing history again. UPDATE I removed all EPG information from the properties file and deleted the Wiz.Bin. That changed absolutely nothing. I still get the CPU maxing out on going into the program guide. I have noticed this entry in the log Error in MediaServerConnection of :java.io.EOFException, but am not sure if that is normal or new.

I have found the source of my problems.
I have some type of conflict on my system between STBKeepAlive and Sage itself. Once I removed the STBKeepAlive everything worked fine again. I have not tried the application again after having gotten everything reinstalled, I'm not sure if it has a conflict with the HD-PVR being USB or what the problem is.
