Moving SageTV to a New PC

Hello,

My old PC of 6 years bit the dust so I bought a new PC and am trying to setup Sage on it. I am on Sage 5.0.4.93

Here are the specs of the PC:

Dell Studio MT 540
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200
- 6GB Ram
- 750 GB HD
- ATI Radeon HD 3450

I am using the same Hauppauge PVR-150 card from the old PC.

I installed Sage, but there are a few problems:

1) The video is very choppy. For the video renderer it is set to VMR9 and the MPEG2 Video Decoder is set to SageTV MPEG Video Decoder.

2) The PC has no serial port so I know that I need to get a USB -> serial cable in order to change chanells on my DTV STB.

3) I was able to recover the recordings from my old PC. How do I transfer them to my new install of Sage? I copied the files over but they do not show up in my list of recordings.
