USB-UIRT entering channels twice

I have the latest version of Sage TV and I'm using a USB-UIRT to control my Verizon FIOS Motorla STB. The setup was working fine for several months, but in the last week, when changing channels either by remote or by recording schedule, the UIRT transmits each channel digit twice. So for channel 576 it sends 557766. I tried uninstalling the UIRT driver, but it said it didn't exist. I also reinstalled Sage just to make sure I didn't overwrite anything.

I couldn't find anything on the forums after searching for a bit. Has anyone experienced this and knows how to fix it?

I've experienced this several times over the past few years, but I can't remember the fix.

It's probably one of the following:

-- Re-program the USB-UIRT using the SageTV wizard and the STB's remote.
-- Go into SageTV's Setup Menu and look for USB-UIRT options, then adjust the repeat count.

If you want to back up your current remote settings before changing anything, they're somewhere like C:\Program Files\SageTV\Common\RemoteCodes\USB-UIRT -- I'm not sure of the exact folder, but you'll find it. The desired file will have the name you originally gave it, probably similar to your Motorola STB.

Note: If using Vista, your remote settings file might be in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Program Files\SageTV instead of C:\Program Files\SageTV. And there are other folder name differences on 64-bit platforms...
