Ah, that did it! Thanks!! When I was using everything before, the Gyration was not an IR remote so I didn't have to do all that stuff. I almost like using the Hauppauge remote better, since I can customize the buttons (can't do that with the Gyration). But the down side is that I can't control all the other A/V equipment with one remote the way I can with the gyration.
So now my setup seems to be working about 95%, except for the replacement box Hauppauge sent is also locking up intermittently and I still get some screen stutter. Almost there!
