Is this a codec problem?

Whenever, I am watching TV on Placeshifter, when it gets to the end of a show and Sage stops recording the previous show and starts recording the next show, after the pause I get a very strange screen. Basically the top left quarter is normal, the bottom left are lines stretched down, the top right are lines stretched across and the bottom right is an empty square. This will do this until I actually click on the Placeshifter window and then it functions normally. I have included a picture of what it looks like.

This happens on two laptops at work (one Vista the other XP), and on my work computer (xp).

I am using SageTV service. All the machines have 6.4.8 and Java 1.06_07. Has anybody noticed this? Or does anyone have an idea why it's doing this?

I had a similar issue playing back Spiderman 3 Blu-ray in Cyberlink PowerDVD 7 about a yr ago. Updating to the latest nforce drivers fixed the issue. Good luck.
