Duplicate Recordings
Does SageTV check to see if something is already being recorded? I asked for it to record a movie last night (Star Trek IV) but it was also apparently already selected by SageTV on another channel (I have 2 tuners), So it was recording the same movie twice at the same time. Shouldn't it have checked to see if the same program was already being recorded?

It depends on your EPG data; see this FAQ:
Does SageTV know enough to record a show only once? Check the detailed info for the show. Or, if you set up timed recording instead of scheduling the recordings based on the EPG data, then the guide data is ignored & the timed recording is done as instructed. - Andy

I think the problem was that I requested the recording on a channel and it was already 'magically' scheduled by SageTV on another channel. I'm guessing that it doesn't ever warn you if a manually scheduled show has been 'magically' scheduled. I think it should (another first?)
