Duplicate recordings issue
I've seen this a few times.
Sage creates two recordings of the same program. Same name, showid, channel, date, time and tuner. Only the start times are different by 1 minute. It actually creates two separate physical files (notice the file names are different). Whats weird is that the file that started recording first has the higher number (last part of the file name). What's really weird is that although the quality is the same, the file with the longer duration is smaller in size. |

That's wierd, never seen that before.
But one thing did catch my eye, 2 mpeg files simultatiously from 1 tuner. A couple of us were talking about overlapping padding on back-to-back recordings on the same channel on the same tuner. And one possible stumbling block was that the tuner/driver could not record to 2 files at the same time. Have you actually tested both files to see that they are complete, and aren't "tied" together somehow. |

I noticed that the two files have different timestamps - 10pm and 11pm.
Watching the files revealed they were two different episodes. Checked the Program Guide and there were two episodes of 20/20 aired back to back which correspond to the two files. Somehow, the two recordings ended up having the same EPG data. |

Ok, I had a similar issue with 20/20 last nite as well. One of the episodes had no EPG data. No title or anything.. So, it must have been something weird going on with the EPG.
