HD-PVR & HD-100 - sometimes I get corrupted time stamps
OK, let me try to explain what I am seeing. I have the HD-PVR hooked up to my Sage server running 6.4. I have a HD-100 on which I watch the content (unsure of exact version, but one of the later betas - it's been updated since the official 6.4 release).
Most of my files play just fine, but I have a problem with some of them. The problem files will start playing just fine and look normal until I try to fastforward. Then it acts as if the system cannot read the timestamps properly. Instead of FFW 2.5 minutes, it might rewind 2 minutes. Instead of FFW 10 seconds, it might rewind to the start of the show, etc. Whatever actually is going wrong, I end up with a file that is unable to go past the point at which I tried to FFW. I'm not sure if the file was "corrupted" from the beginning, or if my FFW corrupted the file somehow, but I end up with an upwatchable file. I'm thinking about running the bad files through VideoReDo or a similar software to see if it can fix the problems. I tried searching for people with similar experiences and didn't find any. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions on what to do or what to look for? Thanks,

I am not using the HD100 but am seeing some of the same issues as you. I have discovered that many times in HiDef recordings, if I FF the time on the progress bar advances the proper amount but the actual video stream does not always do the same. If I rew or ff again it gets off even more. I have learned to press stop after pressing the >>| (150sec) button then press play again it starts at the right place. See if this works for you too. There seems to still be some work to do with TS HiDef playback.
MPEG2 PS playback from OTA tuners also exhibit same issues when using FF Rew FF2 Rew 2 buttons.
