HD-PVR partition cluster size

I will use a different hard drive for the HD-PVR than I use for Sage. Should this be partitioned with 64k clusters as well?

Yes. It doesn't really matter if the HD that the Sage program is located on is 64k or not. It is important to have all of the drives that you record to be 64k.

Thanks for your reply.

What I meant is that my Sage recordings are on a partitioned drive with 64k clusters.

But, does the HD-PVR recordings need to be on a partitioned drive with 64k cluster also, or does the HD-PVR prefer a different cluster setting?

Any drive that is used for video recording/playback should be formatted to 64k. Playback is smoother that way, especially if source is HiDef.
