I'm testing beyond tv right now an say if a program starts late such as BB10 because of football run over an 60 minutes comes on late an ends at say 9:10 beyond won't start recoring till bb10 would start.

Just wondering if sagetv has this feature .

Well, your post is pretty hard to understand. You might get a better answer if you write a bit more clearly.

SageTV records based on the EPG or at specifically entered times. It doesn't detect changes in the length of programs, at least as far as I'm aware of. This being the case, it will switch to your next schedule recording at the time it is scheduled to start, unless your are currently watching Live TV, in which case it will ask you if you wish to switch channels (assuming you are watching the corresponding tuner).

So, unless you are watching Live TV, your recordings will end at their scheduled times if they go past their scheduled end times.

But be aware that user plugins are not officially supported by SageTV.

Because they are locked into 60 minutes in an early timeslot CBS makes a heck of a mess for PVR users on Sunday nights during football season. What I do is just add an hour padding to anything I plan to record.
