Edit default aspect ratio for some tuners

I upgraded to DirecTV HD (and also use OTA for HD locals) a couple months ago in anticipation of the HD-PVR. I used the S-video output of the DTV receivers into my capture cards ((2)Avermedia M780 and (1) Hauppauge 1800) and have been reasonably pleased with the result - picture is somewhere between SD and HD I think.

I've decided to wait a bit on the HD-PVR (until real-time transcoding works reliably since I have 2 MVPs and use Placeshifter along with my HD100s).

My question:
When I record off the DTV sources, the tuner cards assume it's SD so HD100s display in 4:3 mode. Not a big deal, I hit the aspect button on the remote and it fills the screen properly.

But is there a way I can always have it fill the screen properly? It's not hard hitting the remote to adjust the picture... but if I can avoid it - even better I've played around with it for a while but I just can't seem to find a way to have it always show properly for the 2 different sources (OTA HD always fills the screen properly, but DTV does not).

Thanks!

The Auto AR switcher is probably what you want STVi - you can have it apply a certain AR dependent on the tuner.

There's a SageMC version of this somewhere out there - you'll probably need it. I'll post a link if I can find it.
