Please HELP support Multiple Audio Channel

Hey big fans of the HD Media Extender, let's says to Sage how important this is for us to have multiple audio channel on popular container like .mkv, .ts and the like.

Not only to have french and english but also to store director comments with the films when archiving our DVD collections.

This is supported with full DVD image, they could do it with container too. This is just not a priority for them because too few are asking for it.

Personnally, I am waiting for this to buy another extender.

Have you tried the latest beta (firmware) as it now supports multiple audio streams - just press the audio button on the remote - maybe this will do what you want?
I use this to switch between audio streams on the BBC-HD channel recorded here in the UK.

The current beta supports switching between multiple audio tracks on MPEG2 PS and TS files on the HD extender (and of course DVDs). We'll be adding support for switching audio tracks on other formats in the near future.

Will there also be support for subtitles within the mkv container? For example, I am adding the subtitles to my mkvs in .idx format. Will there be support for this in the near future as well?

Would this means that more than 2 audio tracks could be supported on container that support more audio tracks?
