HD100 Picture Freezes

I'm having a problem that just started and it is only affecting one of my two HD100s. The problem is that the HD100 will start-up just fine and play video (SD, HD, DVD doesn't matter the type) and then after about 10 minutes the video freezes. None of the buttons do anything except the power button. When I power it on again it will do the same thing after 10 minutes.

This problem just started yesterday and I hadn't changed any configuration. After I started having problems I updated to 6.4.6 and the latest beta firmware for the HD100 and it is still acting up. I haven't tried turning on debug on the server but I will do that next.

Again my other HD100 works fine as well as my client.

Check to make sure all the settings on the 'Good' unit are the same on the 'Bad' unit.
Try swapping them with each other and see if the problem remains.
I would have said this was a firmware issue but you said you updated them after the problem started. If your settings are exactly the same the problem follows the unit after you swap them with each other then I'd suggest putting in a Support Request. SageTV will tell you what to log and where to send it.

You can never tell, it might be solved by tech support or this *might* end up being an RMA.

Have you tried upgrading to 6.4.7? Since you are on the latest firmware, it might be more compatible with the 6.4.7 RC that just came out. I upgraded to 6.4.7 and the 20080804 firmware last night and it really made improvements in its crashing (to be honest though, I was still on 6.4.5 and 20080604? firmware before so it had been awhile since I upgraded).

I have not tried 6.4.7 but I'm not sure it will help. I have not figured out what caused it to start happening in the first place since I hadn't changed anything when the problem started.

I swapped the two units and the problem stays with the unit.
