HD PVR in Sage TV - Don't see the component source

hi

i just bought a HD PVR from Hauppauge. I also downloaded SageTV for windows. When it asks for my source, I chose the HD PVR device. After that, the only 2 options I have are composite & s-video. Its not letting me choose component. What did I do wrong ?

Let me know

Francois

Are you using the SageTV v6.4 beta? If not, check the beta section of this forum for a sticky about the v6.4.5 beta & you can download the installer there.

Have you installed the Arcsoft Decoders? Is Sage set to use them? What are you system specs? What OS are you using?

On the playback PC, close SageTV or stop the server if in server mode. Then edit the SageTV Properties file and insert the following line...
Code:
videoframe/h264_video_decoder_filter=ArcSoft Video Decoder
Save the file and restart Sage. This will ensure that you are using the ArcSoft Decoder which seems to be the best option at this point.

The file is sage.properties on the server or sageclient.properties on a client.
