Restarting MKV Files

I'm having a problem restarting MKV video files. While watching an MKV, if I press stop then select restart, the video jumps to the beginning then back again, resuming where I stopped the video. I don't know if this is a SageMC problem or SageTV, but the built in STV doesn't support restarting (which is weird), so I can't test it.

I noticed that MTuckman reported a similar problem reported this problem in March, but never got a response.

Any suggestions? SageTV support already redirected me here since it's not possible to test in the default STV.

I'm running the latest beta software and using the HD Extender.

Hmm, no answers. Can someone at least verify that they can restart MKV files from My Videos? If so, can you post what version of Sage, SageMC, and whether you are using an extender?

I have the same symptom, 6.4.4, HD100 extender

So I've tried 6.3.10, 6.4.4 and 6.4.5, same each time - generally mkv files created w/ handbrake, then ran through mkvmerge (as stated in the FAQ) so I can ff/rew; that all works, but saying restart does not restart, so I have to rewind all the way to the beginning

Glad I'm not the only one. I sent a follow up support request, but because it only can happen in SageMC, it's not high on their priority list.
