After Watching Delete - Why does sage ask quesitons about me liking the show

I have a show that is a favorite. I watch it. At the end I hit delete.

Why does sage give a menu that that asks why I want to delete? the choices I think are

1. I watchted it
2. I didnt like it

plus two others which I forget right now.

If I didnt like it why would I record it and watch it? More imporantly what value or action is sage taking on those choices and is there a way to remove that menu all together?

I believe the menu you are referring to, show the 4 following choices:
Delete it now
Delete it because it is the wrong recording
Delete it because I don't like it
Don't delete it

Sage needs to know in order to correct some flags, such as if it was an incorrect recording it will clear the watched flag, because you did not watch the show that sage thought you watched. I am not sure about the "I don't like it" but I suspect it may have something to do with intelligent recording. If you did not care for the show, Sage may not select similar shows for intelligent recording. If you liked it, then will try to record similar shows for IR purposes.

It is easy to get a recording you don't actually like: IR may have recorded the show, or a Fav may have caught it via keyword or person.

Well, if you tell it to delete & set/clear watched, that's what it will do. If you tell it you don't like it, it will clear the Watched flag & set the Don't Like flag. There is one outside the hidden extras that simply dlets it, leaving the flags as they are.

You can modify the dialogs in Studio, but there is no built-in option to change those deletion confirmation dialogs.

I dont use the IR... so I havent had any issues of it recording something i didnt want. Is there any settings that I can put in the properties to kill that menu?
