Sage not correctly sending IR over USB-Uirt

Hey Guys,

Could use a hand. I can't get Sage to correctly send the channel numbers for my Dish VIP211 correctly over a USB-Uirt with IR emitter. When testing the learned numbers, I have to click a number twice (exactly, not approx.) to get it to register with the STB. If I use LRNhelper to learn and retransmit through the USB-Uirt, everything works great. So I transfered the code from LRNhelper app to my Sage config file (the one located in Common\USB-Uirt) where Sage seemed to save the IR codes, and I still get exactly the same behavior. What am I missing? Any thoughts? Any way to make Sage repeat each number sent?

Thanks,
Dan

Try SHS's IR file from this thread:
http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...ht=VIP211+code

I also found another thread in these forums when I setup my VIP211 that the codes worked for but I couldn't find it just now when I searched (will look tonight if those codes above do not work for you).

Excellent, thanks Paul. Amazingly there is absolutely no problem with the IR learned, but instead the lack of the RepeatCount line in the .ir file. Really need a way for Sage to add this property and to adjust it in the remote settings area.

Yeah, mine did not work either until I added the repeat command. Ho hum. I assume you got it to work?
