UI resolution reverting to 480p?

Hi folks,

I have an HD100 that's connected to my TV via an HDMI cable. The TV is capable of all resolutions up through 1080p. In order to take advantage of this, under Multimedia in Detailed Settings, I set Output to 1080p. The TV goes black and then comes back in full 1080p glory. I power off everything (HD100 in Standby) and then power it all back up, and that setting has reverted to 720x480.

My questions: First, how do I get Sage to remember that setting? Second, is there any point to setting the resolution above 720p? (I recall that the max resolution of the UI is lower than this).

Go to the HD100's Settings menu (power off, then use Home), then configure its Video Output. While configuring the output resolutions, the last resolution you leave it at will be the default resolution when it starts up.

This may have been something that only happened with a prior firmware (or perhaps not at all), but I thought that the extender would restart in the lowest resolution that you had selected in the settings menu. Therefore, if you only selected 1080p, you would always get that (and that alone).

The HD100 has always worked as I posted above. Read the resolution selection screen & you will see that it mentions starting in the currently active resolution, not the lowest res.
