Tuning Live TV to Specific Channel Number And Seeking to Current Time

Could someone please describe to me the API calls to do this? I have tried to do this with various Sage Commands ("LiveTV", "TimeScroll", etc.) with various "Wait" periods between them, however, this is very unreliable. There must be a better way to do it with the API but I just can't figure it out. I'm not sure how to get a "current" Airing easily from a physical channel number. Thanks for any help.

In the default STV, look for "REM Close current media & start live TV". You could probably add a ChannelSet() call to have it tune to a specific channel number before starting playback.

Depending on how you are doing this, you can also combine your code with the MediaPlayerFileLoadComplete hook, then use Seek(Time()) after the file has completed loading so that you'l know it has fully loaded before trying to seek.

There is also code that handles numeric input to change to a specified channel; the actual channel change code is proabbly under the InactivityTimeout hook, but may be under the ChannelEntry listener, depending on where the primary reference was left.
