Same channel different names
I am currently using a pvr1600 and a HDHR. Some of my channels have duplicates: for example, I have WCPO available in SD on the pvr1600 and WCPODT (the hd version) on the pvr1600 and the HDHR. Is there any way to combine these so that they don't both show up in the guide (they always have the same programming). When something records, I want it to chose the SD tuner last.

If a program is actually in HD (i.e. not a pillarboxed SD program) and the HD flag is set SageTV should automatically prefer the HD program over an SD one. If the program is shown as a pillarboxed SD program and you still want it to prefer it over a regular SD recording you can specify which channel to record from in your favorites.

Are you cable/sat or OTA? You can try setting some of your other tuners to another local nearby city that might get the same lineup, and then prioritize tuners in your properties file.
BTW, nice to see there's someone else here from my neck of the woods. If you are interested in some local channel logos, I have quite a few made... ...and likewise if you have some nice ones yourself, let me know.

I am using clear QAM from the local cable company (insight). I do not have any channel logos, btw.
So, is there any way to combine these channels so they only appear in the guide once? |

I don't believe so. Because they are on separate channels and have different call signs they will always appear separately on the lineup. AFAIK, I don't think there's anything you can do about that.
