Help Adding Online Content

Hey all,

I am following the instructions for adding online content found in this post

This is not working for me. As far as I know I am using the default STV. In the system information it is listed as:

SageTV3.xml (Version 6.3.10.2 February 26, 2008)

I am running version 6.3.10.166 of Sage.

When I put the example CustomOnlineVideoLink.properties and CustomOnlineVideoUIText.properties files in the Online Videos directory, I can see the spots for the Photoshop and Custom Test Links, but when I click on them I get nothing but a "Back" button.

The same thing happens if I try to add my own content.

Any help or ideas?

Ok, duh!!! I need to upgrade to 6.4 to get this to work. Let me do this and see if it helps.

Ok, now I am using the instructions and files for 6.3.10 like I should have been in the first place. Can I can see the NewsHour example podcast, but when I try to add one (Dave Ramsey in this case), I do not see the episodes listed.

I have attached the custom properties file. Could someone please take a look at it and see if you see any problems?

I believe you should replace:

xPodcastCustom/CustomCategories=newshour
xPodcastSecurity/CustomCategories=securitynow

with

xPodcastCustom/CustomCategories=newshour,securitynow

All the items you wish to add should just be added to that one line, with commas separating. The rest looks correct.

I think. I could be wrong.
