HD Extender Jerky Animations!!
I rebuilt my system a couple of weeks ago, due to the wonderful HDPVR problems some of us had.
Now that my system is clean and built from scratch, I am getting jerky animation on all of the SageTV menus on the HD Extender. I have installed the AMD driver that Opus4 posted about, and updated the Java to the latest version. I also made sure my network settings were at the right speed etc... Also on my PC itself, the menus are perfecly smooth, even over Remote Desktop!! Does anybody have any ideas? Oh yeah, I am running 6.4.3, and the latest beta firmware.

What do you define by jerky? On my hd100 there is a very slight lag between when I click on the menu and when it comes up, but the animations themselves are smooth and once they "start" they do not jerk/stutter.

Like a studder, not a delay. I noticed it happens on only one of my extenders, the one with the latest firmware, so I need to do some more research.

Did you check the Java heap size?

Well, finally got back home and was able to do more troubleshooting. It looks like the HD extender in my Family Room, does this because of the gigabit switch it's plugged into. Right when I plugged it straight into the wall, it started behaving like the other one. I am pretty sure this wasn't happening before the last firmware update.
