How to scan for channels without losing remappings

I have scanned for channels and then manually remapped the various channels to their correct channel numbers. However, it appears that if I were to re-scan, I would lose the re-mappings. Is there a way of avoiding this and just scanning for "new" channels?

Thanks.

Try using the v6.4.4 beta. There were changes in Channel Setup that may resolve that.

Thanks for the suggestion. Before I do that, do you know what changes were made re channel scanning? If I wanted to save the channel lineup/mappings, apart from the .frq files, what else would I need to take copies of?

The easiest thing to do would be to save the whole SageTV install before trying the beta.
