Adding channels problem

Im trying to manually add a channel in my EPG. Ive followed the intructions in the SageTV manual but Im NOT promted for step 3. I can tune into the channel but even after forcing a EPG update i get NO DATA in the EPG

1. Enter Name of Station (TSNHD)
2. ENTER CH Number (850)
3.Enter CH ID (Im not promted forthis)

If you add a channel name that already exists, it won't ask for a station ID -- it will use the one from the existing channel.

If the channel doesn't really exist except for previous attempts to add it, then clear the channel's remaps to remove it, do an EPG update, then wait & try adding the channel again later.

If you are trying to add a channel that already exists on a different lineup, then simply use the Remap option to 'Map Different Station to this Physical Channel'.

Thanks that worked! Maybe if the manual can be updated to include these options for manually Adding a channel, the missing step through me for a loop.

I'm in the middle of updating the v6.4 manuals, so I tried to add a little extra info to clarify that... hopefully, it worked.
