I am new to sagetv and trying to set it up. Im trying to get overthe air epg data but when it asks for my local broadcast market there is only usa locations. Is it easier to use xmltv or another method?

You havent set something right somewhere as you should see a list of UK transmitters. I've seen this problem before but for the life of me I cannot remember how to fix it. I'm sure someone else will jump in soon and answer your question more specifically.

Ive sorted it out now. Is the xmltv feed more detailed or better in any way than the over the air epg data? Specially the information such as whether the program is a repeat or not?

xmltv has a lot more detailed program information I find, as for detecting repeats or not I'm still struggling with this on my xmltv setup but haven't really investigated the data yet to see if its something obvious to fix it.

OTA is very basic, RT XMLTV is much better on repeats but far from perfect. OTA is 7 days, RT is 14.
