HD100 Extender and MX500 Remote

Is anyone using the MX-500 remote control with the HD100 extender? I have my MX-500 set to learn the hauppauge (HD100 remote) codes and it works, but many times my MX-500 seems to be sending the commands twice causing this sort of situation: (up - goes up twice, enter - hits enter twice)

With girder (using for my client PC not the HD100 of course) I can adjust the sensitivity of the IR receiver so I'm wondering if there's any way to do this with the HD100. Any input is welcome. Thanks!

Check this thread out I don't have the HD100 Extender but I remember having this problem with my MVP.

you can try the rc5_disable=true property setting.
