Small # of R5000 recordings won't playback after upgrade to 6.4.3 beta

Got another issue... Some of my recordings won't play with either the HD-100 (20080604) or Placeshifter. So far they have all been HD H.264 TS recordings from an R5000HD using Dish Network. They will immediately jump to the top menu when you attempt to play them. Hitting play again will only give you a black screen.

One is a new recording, 2 others are old ones which played fine on the 6.3.10 release I was using before the upgrade. Also saw it happen once with live-TV.

Weird. I'm opening a support ticket with Sage, just posting this to make others aware.

Try this:

Stop SageTV/Sage Server. Edit your properties file with:

force_full_content_reindex=true

That worked for me when I upgraded from 6.3.5 to 6.4.2 and had the same problem.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't fix it. Support is looking at it, so hopefully it'll get figured out soon.

If it's any consolation - I too now have the same problem again. Previously similar problem was fixed by force_full_content_reindex=true. Tried to watch a recording of the Andromeda Strain on the extender last night - no go. Reindexing did not help. Opened on my server and plays normally, so it is an extender-only issue.
