DVBDream Plugin to Fix Slow Channel Change ?

Hi All,

I've just recently downloaded the trial of SageTV and have been playing around trying to get it working properly.
For the most part everything is working apart from; slow channel changes (~8 seconds) and Sage only finds around half of my DVB-T channels..

I have been searching the forums and found some info regarding using DVBDream as a network encoder.

• Can anyone clarify what changing to this would do?
• Does it basically use DVBDream for the 'TV Engine' instead of the Sage one?
• Is there anything else I can try to speed up channel changing? (Vista MCE and MediaPortal switch in around 1-2 seconds using the same tuners)
• I presume SageTv Clients / Placeshifters etc. can still work if I use DVBDream for TV ?
