STX-HD100 HD Extender firmware change request
I received my HD Extender last week and love it so far.
I only have 1 small grip thus far. The optical (SPDIF) output stays on even when the unit is in standby. This causes my receiver to think there is a signal on the line. I understand this is minor and I think the fix could be done in the firmware. I ask if it's possible to turn the SPDIF output off when the extender is in standby? Thanks for a great product! Flash |

In addition if the Video outputs could be turned off as well that would be preferable. The HDMI seems to be on in soft off mode for me anyway.

Also you need to make a formal request to Sage like I just did as they may or may not see the posts above. They don't read every post here and if you want to be sure your request is seen then make a request directly to SageTV here.

I would love it if the HDMI port would allow my monitor to go in to standby or shut off.

I'm having the same problem. My TV won't go to sleep becasue the HDMI port stays on. I'll submit a request as well. Cheers Lester

To anyone's knowledge has this been corrected? I could have sworn that the original HD100 firmware did not behave with a black signal on the line when in standby. I have a switcher that switches when no signal is detected. It used to work and recently stopped. I think it was when I upgraded firmware. Any thoughts anyone has on this would be appreciated.
