way to disable a tuner in sage

I have a patterson tv translator that died on me. I need to disable the tuner. I see no way other than to just remove it from the video sources. Is there a better way?

Not that I know of. Sage needs to know the tuner is not there so it will not schedule recordings to use the non-existant or bad hardware.

Ya but if you look at the details for the tuner, and it has a functioning field, that is set to true. They could just make it a toggle, to disable it or something.

Just remove it. It should still remember its channel lineup and other settings when you add it back again later.

Thats what i did, but thats not the point. I have 5 tuners all doing directv and using the same lineup.

I should be able to take one offline without having to delete it.

You can take one offline by changing its channel lineup to "Do not use"
