Now the weather won't update. I noticed it this morning and changed to a different zip code...that caused it to update at 7:05AM. I just looked at the weather and it's still at 7:05AM (network connection is fine).

P

P.S. Changing the zip again, and back, updated it...why not on its own?

What version of SageTV are you using? The v6.4.3 beta should take care of that too.

Still on 6.3.10. Good to know 6.4.x has it fixed. My work around is to change to metric and back...that works too and is quick (no beta testing any more since I aqquired the "W" from WAF)

Is there any patch update that can fix it in 6.3.10 ... I am just finishing up on my install and customizations. Hate to have to go through the process again.

A nice simpe fix would be great since 6.3.10 is the current supported version.

You'll have to ask SageTV about that.

Day and night is also off

Have noticed that the current temp is for about 6 hours prior. There will be a sun in the evening. The whole thing is a little mixed up.

This was the response I got from Sage Support.

"No, you will need to upgrade to the beta."

This was my response.

"I find myself for the first time very disappointed. Sage should patch the current supported version when there is a "bug" and "not" recommend an upgrade to a "beta" version to correct one problem, in turn potentially introducing others. In addition, going to a beta version also reduces the potential of existing installed plugins working. I think this is a bad support policy and would appreciate you passing that on."

problem with weather forecast

The weather forecast under On-Line Services has a problem with the 10-day forecast. Only the first 5 days are correct, the other 5 days are several months old. I checked with weather.com for area code 93422 and all is OK. This used to work just fine, I don't know exactly when the problem started.

I realize that I am using version 5.4, but perhaps this is a problem in later versions too?

Thanks.

* merged -- weather.com changed its info; see above *

I believe this is fixed in the current betas. It is a known problem with the old versions. Unfortunately Weather.com changed their weather feed and so Sage had to "redo" their weather display.

See post #15 here for the "patch" that will fix pre 6.4 sage installations

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...7&postcount=15

Also if you are really anal, you can also edit the current STV and do a search/replace for the following strings:

"10 day" to "5 day"

and

"10-day" to "5-day"

Reload the STV or restart the Sage client.
