Beta 6.4.2 UI Language

Hello,

I can't change the UI Language back to US anymore.

It was always English, but after the upgrade to the latest beta it switched to Netherlands, ok I live there, but I like English a lot better.

I can select English but it doesn't seem to accept it.

In your .properties file change this line:
Quote:
ConfigWiz/MCFullyConfigured=true
to =false

Next time you start Sage it will start the Config Wizard. Carefully choose the language you want. I think it is the first screen. (or 2nd.)

I've tried that, but it still switches back to Netherlands.

Even when I set it directly in the properties file to US, it directly switches to the Netherlands language after startup.

Make sure you making these changings with the Sage service stopped or the Sage application completely quit and out of the system tray. (Not just sleeping.)

You need to set the regional options for standards and formats in Windows to "English (United States)". Sage then defaults back to English after a restart. Funny thing is that even though there is a Dutch language available, it can't be selected via the settings menu, it only appears if you've set the regional settings to Dutch.

Changing the regional settings works, but then I also loose the Euro sign and so on. I could probably make a custom setting but...

I think it's a bug, and SageTV shouldn't behave this way, right?
