Same show recording and recording and recording
I have a favorite that is looking for "Premiere" in all fields. It records new shows that come it, works fairly well. That is until "Big Movie Premiere: Iron Man" came out. That show is recording ALL of the time now. I've deleted, marked it as watched, deleted, marked it as watched, marked it has "hated", screamed at it... deleted it...
What is up that Sage can't seem to understand that its the same show, with the same show ID, why will it not understand that I have seen it and I don't want a folder full of 10 recordings of that same show? What am I doing wrong?

Look at the ShowID for the show you mentioned & see how it relates to this FAQ: Does SageTV know enough to record a show only once? I see that one of my favorites is scheduled to air 3 times this week -- How many of those will be recorded?

So the problem appears to be the SHow id, which is SH010501000000. That means, that even though this isn't a series, its a one time special that is on 50 times a day, Sage will record it each and every time it is on and there is really no way to tell Sage to stop recording it, short of turning off the favorite which is recording it or removing the channels its on from the guide.
Now, I'm not an expert, but this seems to be an issue that should have a solution.

That's what I figured was the case... What is your setting for Detailed Setup -> Customize -> Detect repeat airings with non-unique IDs? It should be set to 'Yes', but that doesn't guarantee that SageTV will be able to guess that the airings are all the same.
