Custom trailer support?

Anyone know of a way to force a custom trailer to play before a movie? I'm interested in having a trailer play right before the movie starts, like the theater intro in movie theaters.

If you've got time to plan ahead, you can setup a video playlist. I did this a few weeks ago for a movie night. Queued up several movie trailers followed by the main feature, hit play and they all play, one after another, just like a theater.

I'd also love to see a way to do this. I'm not sure of one yet, but I used to do it in XLobby. You could certainly do as stanger suggested, but that method loses out on a lot and requires pre-work. I like'd having it always play a DTS or DD trailer, followed by a random movie trailer from my collection in the same genre and then starting the movie. If you don't feel like watching them then you just hit skip to skip through them.
