Apple Trailer Support

Now that Sage V6 supports Quicktime and H.264 playback support, would there be a way to incorporate Apple's HighDef Quicktime Trailers into SageMC or a STVi?

Pretty much like Apple's Front Row does:



Would that be a possibility for the future?

I'm already watching those ...

Look for the MovieTimes STVi, there is a special version for SageMC

Does that really take the HD versions from the Apple website? That's so cool. Which one does it use? 480p, 720p, or 1080p?

You can configure which ones to download. I once downloaded the 1080p ones, but my machine wasn't powerful enough to play them back, so I switched back to 720p. It'll only stick to your configured quality if the trailer is available, otherwise it will download a lower quality one

I dunno, maybe if you asked Morgan111 in this thread, http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20620 , for an iTV theme, he may be able to implement such a theme

Yeah, I saw that - (looks very cool!) - but that Front Row just beats the tar out of iTV and everything else I've seen. IMO, of course! Those Apple guys sure know how to design...

Oh, I thought that Front Row looked pretty much like iTV since both are apple products. They both have black backgrounds so I ASSumed...
