USB-UIRT question

Hello all,

I received my USB-UIRT today and it worked right away with SageTV and is able to change channels on my Motorola STB.

However, I've got 2 questions:

1. How do I control the duration between each key press that is being sent using USB_UIRT? For example, when changing channel to 101, is it possible to set the duration between each key press transmit? I see there is a .ir file for Motorola DCT2000. Which value do I modify to force the key presses to be sent faster?

2. Is there a way to force Sage TV to send an "Exit" command to my STB immediately after transmitting the key presses to change channel.

For example, when changing channel to 101, I want the following set of keys to be sent.

1... 0... 1... ENTER... EXIT

I want EXIT to be sent so that the "flip bar" that the STB displays at the bottom gets removed.

I adjusted the repeat count in the IR file.

You can also adjust the "Delay between codes" and the "Delay between channel changes" in the setup menu. Here is the path: "Setup", "Setup video sources", "Select your capture card", "Select tuner control USB-UIRT transceiver remote control options".
