SageTV Freezes on Startup (Locks up Windows XP)

This is a problem I've been having recently with both version 6.1 and 6.3. My specs are:

Asus M2NPV-VM
1 GB RAM
Onboard GE6250 graphics
1 HDHomeRun (Can't get smooth video, another thread)
1 AVerMedia A180 (doesn't work with HD, another thread)
Hauppauge MCE150
Sage TV 6.3
Windows XP Pro
DVI --> HDMI to Sony HD RPTV

This problem usually happens after a complete system shut down (not a restart). When Windows starts up, the SageTV start dialog pops up and gets stuck on "SageTV Service initializing . . ." It hangs there forever. I can use task manager to quit SageTV program, but not SageTV Service. Explore partially locks up and I don't get a taskbar. I thought is was in some sort of loop. When I'd find a way to start Service Control, it was stuck on "Service is starting."

Today I was waiting while I posted this and some other threads, when the service must have eventually got out of the loop. I was then able to start the SageTV program. Anyone know what is happening?

I would start by turning on debug logging, and then start a support ticket. SageTV tech support will probably identify what the holdup is from the logs. You might pick up a clue yourself from the logs, although they are very long and detailed.
