SageTV Logging
Is there any logging on the Windows version of SageTV? I keep running into an issue where favorites don't record. I can set it to tape 1st run and re-runs on a show and it will just skip an episode periodically. Same day, same time, same everything, it just stops recording and I can't figure out what is going on. Then the next time the episode is on, it tapes it. My wife tapes soaps and she will get 3-4 episodes a week instead of 5. The other 1-2 just don't tape. No conflict or anything, just doesn't tape. I am looking for some log that might give me a clue as to why it isn't taping.

There's a FAQ about how to enable debug logging. In the same FAQ thread, there's also a FAQ to check regarding why a Favorite might not get recorded.

The FAQ I linked to is correct. If you are not getting a log, then the property probably hasn't been changed correctly -- make sure you completely exit SageTV before editing any properties file, or all of your changes will be ignored. Also, make sure you have filename extensions displayed in Windows Explorer so that you can tell that you are editing a .properties file instead of the .properties.autobackup version.
