Can't Trial V6.3
I'm a pre-V5 user and I tried V6.0 when it first came out and it was very buggy and I didn't like it so I went back to V5. Now V6.3 is out and I want to see if that is any better but when I install it, I get a message saying my trial period has expired. Is there any way to reset the trial period for this version? I am very interested in upgrading but want to verify that it all works with my setup first. Thanks , Mark.

There is no trial reset procedure. (Well, maybe an OS re-install.) Usually, a new release has its trial reset so it can be tried again after trying an earlier version. I'll try asking SageTV whether the trial was reset.

The upgrade trial is the part that is catching you -- you've already run the v6 upgrade trial on top of an earlier version of SageTV & that can't get reset.

Hummmm, not very accomodating. I have no issues with V5, so I guess I'll just stay with it until V7 comes out. Any idea when that will be?
And why should I go to V6 anyway? I just have a single standard tv and the only complaint I have with V5 is that it locks up if you watch a recording to the very end. But I have learned to live with that. Have they added any additional features that are not HD or Media Center related? And now I'm curious as to how they determined that I have tried V6.
