Two channels in multiplex with "choppy" signal

I'm receiving 5 channels from the same multiplex from the same DVB-T transmitter in Denmark. Two of these channels - which are regional variations of the same basic channel, TV2) give a very choppy video signal.

It can't be the reception : the other channels are OK, and I have tried changing which transmitter I tune to, the effect is the same.

I have tried recording the cnannel without watching it, and the recorded MPEG file also has the problem: both in WMP and WinDVD. Sometimes, a recording on this channel will just "abort" halfway through - but sometimes, its fine and I can record a whole feature film.

This is most bizarre. I am speculating that there is something non-standard about this channel's encoding, that is confusing my DVB-T receiver (Hauppauge NOVA-T USB2).

Another symptom is that the EPG data (until I set it to disable updates) would be unstable, and change from one minute to the next.

Anyone any ideas?
