Upgrade Questions

Hi all,

Couple questions:

1) How can I tell what version of SageTV I'm running?
2) I'm in the middle of a trial... can I upgrade? If so, what's the process?
3) Does upgrading remove the previously recorded videos?

1. go to Setup->Help->system information. The first line shows the version.
2. yes, you can upgrade. I thing the procedure is in the FAQ.
3. No videos are effected. It is recommended that you save a copy of configuration and wiz.bin files. The wiz.bin contains your favorites and viewing history.

Yes, there is a forum FAQ topic -- see the pull-down menu near the top of the forum, or see the whole topic: How to install a new version of SageTV, which has more details.
