Riddle me this, Batman, bizzare audio problem..
I have an Asus P5k with onboard HD Audio. If I select "Default" or "Default Direct Sound" then all audio plays back fine (live tv, DVD's, etc) EXCEPT for mp3 audio files; they sound choppy/stuttering/clipping-like.
If I switch the renderer to "Default wave out" then then it's the opposite; the mp3 songs sound great but then everything else is choppy. I've tried reloading audio drivers and fiddling with Ac3filter, but to no avail. Anyone come across this? Thanks, Shawn
