"Live" commercial skip with SageMC?

I have Sage 6.3.5 setup with SageMC 6.3.7, and using a HD-100 for playback (so the PC is just a Server for Sage). I've setup Comskip so that it detects the commercials while the MPG file is still recording. However, I can't get SageMC to read the edl file until the recording is complete (and in some cases it won't read it until I stop and restart the Sage Service). "Live" commercial detection was a really nice feature of my MCE setup and I would hate to loose this feature. I've checked the edl file while a show is recording - it exists and the commercial markers are being written, they just don't show up in Sage.

Does anyone use commercial skip this way (if it isn't a feature I can stop trying to figure out what I did wrong) Any ideas?

I've been using SageMC with ShowAnalyzer and DirMon2 to accomplish this and it works without problems.

So with Comskip the .edl file exits, it has the right contents and still Sage does not read it?

Thank you everyone for the responses. I rebooted the machine this morning, and now I just did some testing and everything is working perfectly. I have no idea what I did wrong, but this just shows I'm a newbie...

Eric, to answer your question, yes Comskip was working perfectly. My problem appeared to be with SageMC. However, clearly the real problem was EBKAC
