Congrats!

The website says that it comes with an audio cable (but apparently no video). What kind of audio cable (RCA, S/PDIF)? Should I go out and buy HDMI cables for the two I have on the way, or should I stick with component video and the supplied audio cable?

Ummm, it comes with a 1.5 meter A/V cable....That is audio/video....however, if I am not mistaken the A/V cable is just composite cables and not component or hdmi.

HDMI is usually the perferred way to go as it is a digital signal which doesn't require your digital signal to be converted to analog and then back to your digital tv....with that said I have noticed some complaints about the hdmi @ 1080P although that could have just been a slight issue with the first run. Hard to say.....

Glad to see people are getting their units so quickly. I am in Wisconsin so I will not receive my 6 until late next week. I have one up and running and can't wait to get the others.

No if I could only get Charter to make their service more reliable.(fat chance)

Not bad Sage. Not bad at all
Currently watching some recorded content. I'll get to LiveTV sometime later.
Good job

I hear ya on both accounts. I ordered right away and mine won't show up until the 6th. West coast to Wisconsin takes a while I guess.

You are absolutely correct about Charter. Their service is not very good.

Yet another Cheesehead expecting my HD extender to arrive next week. Been spending a lot of time with SageTV lately. I've gotta do something while waiting for the snow to melt...

I ordered mine the morning of 2/27, it shipped the evening of 2/28, and I got it on 2/29 via UPS ground. I live in Southern California so UPS ground saved me a few bucks and I still got it pretty quickly.

I ordered a 10ft HDMI cable from monoprice for ~$10 shipped last night. Since it comes priority mail, I am hoping to get it the same day when my extender arrives. I have component cables, but I strongly recommend HDMI as well. Whatever you do, don't go to WalMart or BestBuy and overspend on a HDMI cable

Another good place to go to is Meritline.com for HDMI cables. I picked up a pair of 6' HDMI cables for 10 bucks with free shipping a month ago or so. Their selection isn't as good as monoprice, but worth checking out.
