Conflict Resolution screen.. Mine is diffferent/limited

I have the most recent version of SageTV. My conflict resolution screen does not look like the one in the manual.
It gives me no way to pick favorite priorities... Here a screenshot is worth a thousand words.

Any ideas about why I dont get any options to adjsut favorite priorities?

There are various conflict resolution options that can appear on that screen, depending on circumstances.

You do, in fact, have the option to adjust the Favorite priorities -- notice the option for "ALWAYS OVERRIDE". There are only 2 Favs in question shown in your screenshot, so a priority adjustment would consist of moving one to have higher priority than the other. If additional Favs had been involved with this conflict, you would instead have the option to manually adjust the priorities for all those Favs.

Thanks Opus, but if you read the text there appears to be no choice to make 48 Hours Mystery always a priority to record over the Wonder Years favorite, and that is what I want to set up. Am I missing something?

The way the screen is worded I can Force a Wonder Years recording (this time) or I can ALWAYS record Wonder Years over 48 Hours..

Where is the option to ALWAYS record 48 Hours instead of Wonder Years?

Thanks!

The recording schedule as shown there would be the default according to current Fav priorities, so you could choose the option to ignore those conflicts & that confirms the priority of the currently scheduled Fav over all other Favs in conflict on that screen.

If you do nothing, 48 Hours would still be recorded each time, but it would be an unresolved conflict where you haven't confirmed your preferred solution.

That's just "Always Ignore". 48 is higher priority, so you just need to tell it not to warn you.

Damn, too slow...

Ok thanks you guys!

That dialogue could stand to be a bit more clear in a future release maybe.

I agree. In my opinion, the conflict resolving screen tries to be too smart sometimes.
