Capture card to provide *BOTH* RF *AND* component channels

Hi there,
I'm still getting the grips of what SageTV can do for me but I am stuck on a very silly issue that I can't work around - I want to add channels to the program guide from both RF and composite sources of my single HVR-1300 capture card.

Reason is that I want to watch Sky news, which broadcast over DVB-T, hence the separate RF cable without having to re-configure the capture card every time I want to switch between RF and composite.

So, how do I configure the capture card to include the both inputs in SageTV? It seems to only allow me to use one per card. Alternatively, is there a way to add the free DVB-T channels to the V+ box, so that I don't need the RF cable to the capture card at all?

Any ideas?

Many thanks,
/B

You should be able to just go through setup twice using two different inputs. You'll have to pick a different linup for each.

aw, bugger! So I "Add a new source" and select "DVB-T / Demod" instead of "Video Capture" (which is already selected for the existing source which only shows the Composite channel). The next screed displays a "Digital TV tuner" button, but it turns out to rather be a self-destruction trigger and the SageTV application and services go down immediately. I bet that wasn't supposed to happen. Is that a known bug, or do I need to re-install...? Many thanks for helping anyway!

Regards,
Bjorn

I'd try it again, and if it still doesn't work, submit a support request, that's not right.
