RC 6_3_9 Breaks nielm's ATI RW plugin

Has anyone found a workaround for the ATI Remote Wonder plugin to work with 6_3_9?

I found another tread in 'Hardware Support' that mentioned changing the
SageClientAppClass to 'sunawtframe' for the SageTV.ini plugin, but that doesn't seem to work for _9.

I'm not sure if this message belongs in Hardware Support because it seems to be a beta issue.

I will have a look into it when I getround to installing _9 next week. It is probably a matter of changing one of the class names... By the way, which java JRE are you running?

I'm the one who posted that fix for 6.3.8. Kudos to nielm for creating it to begin with!

As nielm mentioned, the class name changed because of the new Java that installed with that version. I also haven't yet installed 6.3.9 (might hold off until I hear more positive things about it) so I won't know what class name is now being used for the Sage program.

I was using a program called autohotkey to examine the names behind the scenes. It's a program used for writing windows macros. The program you need is Au3_spy.exe. It opens up a window that gives information on the active window. The name you want would be just following "ahk_class", like in
"ahk_class SunAwtFrame"

I ran autohotkey and see that the class name is "SunAwtFrame" as you mentioned.

I found that updating this works for Sage Server, but not Sage Client. Autohotkey shows the window names as "SageTV" (under server), and "SageTV Client" under client.

I'm not sure where in the SageTV.INI this change would be placed.

Any ideas?

Still broken in _10.

If Nielm ever turns over to the DarkSide (btv/mce/...) then no more SageTV updates for me.

I finally installed 6.3.10 server and my changes work there with the main application. I don't use client so sorry, I'm not sure what needs to be changed to help that.

Hi Waylo,

I just *uninstalled* that latest version of the JRE that's included in .9 and .10 on the client machines and the ART RW is running smoothly again.
