Hauppauge Go Button
This is driving me crazy
I have been through all 5 pages of the 45 button remote thread and everything seems ok except for the go button the one with the little house on it. When I press it the ir dialog box from the task bar opens. I have tried both ini files from opus in addition to the the others in that thread. Attached is the current one I am using. OS is vista if it makes a difference, UAC is off. Thanks John |

That's probably because when SageTV doesn't have focus, this line in the default section is used:
GO={gomenu()} That opens the menu that you see. - Andy

Man your too quick for us mere mortals ![]() I no longer use the irremote.ini as I use the MCE blaster, but I took a look at your file. And the problem is: Under [Default] GO={gomenu()} I see in your SageTV section you have GO={run(J:\Progra~1\SageTV\SageTV\SageTV.exe)}{mode(SageTV)} I would move what you have under SageTV for the GO button to the [Default] section. So when sagetv doesn't have focus it'll start sagetv and/or give focus to it. In the SageTV section you can then have GO = {alt}{F4} or such. To close down sagetv. Having the launch EXE command in the SageTV really doesn't provide much benefit

Humm I thought I followed the directions in your download for when sage did not have focus. I guess I misunderstood something. Thanks, John |
